In 1992 Grant Thornton began an extensive annual study among small and medium-sized companies in Europe: the European Business Survey. In 2003 the project was expanded to also survey medium-sized companies outside of Europe. Since then the trend-setting study has gone by the name of the International Business Report. The IBR study is carried out annually among 7,200 business owners in 32 countries.
The research focuses on trends in expectations and plans of business owners for the coming year. Partial reports are published regularly on specific topics from the research. These are a valuable source of information if you conduct business internationally, but also if you want to know how other Dutch business owners think and behave.
The first section of the International Business report 2008 discusses the subject of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
