Marcel Baks

Marcel Baks works at the Alphen aan den Rijn branch...

...and has been a partner at Grant Thornton since 1 January 2007. In 1992, Marcel started as a trainee at Kooi and van Leeuwen before officially joining the company on 1 January 2003.

 

Professional practices are close to Marcel’s heart, and he is glad to add his two cents in matters involving professional practices at the Grant Thornton organisation. He is also a deputy Compliance Officer. Marcel works with the general accountancy practice, where the necessary know-how of tax law and other consultancy issues are the order of the day.

 

As a consultant for both the small to medium-size company market and for larger family businesses, Marcel has extensive experience in the tax preparation practice and the auditing practice of annual accounts. Through the great diversity in his client portfolio, Marcel has extensive experience in providing consultancy in matter involving financing and investing, mergers/acquisitions and due-diligence.
