John van der Meer

John van der Meer works at the Woerden branch...

...and in his function as an accountant and consultant works mainly with smaller to medium size family businesses. Before his involvement in the accountancy field, John worked as an administrator; a position that gave him experience being on the ‘other side of the table’.

 

John has extensive experience in the field of consultancy for start-ups and other growing companies, to whom he has given all manner of lectures.

 

Additionally, John also holds several additional functions at Grant Thornton. He is involved in the entrepreneurs’ association OT '92, is a member of the Castellum Laurum Lions Club, is chairman of the editorial board of Guidance for the AA (Dutch ‘Leidraad voor de AA’) and he is also involved within the Woerden Cycle Race Foundation.
