Hans Akerboom
Hans Akerboom is based at our office in Gouda...
...and has worked in the accountancy field since 1981. After finishing his HEAO (Institute for business administration and economics) education, he studied evenings at the NIVRA (Royal Dutch institute of registered accountants) to become a certified accountant. He successfully completed his education in 1992.
Hans has worked at Grant Thornton since 1 March 1997, and was named partner on 1 January 2000. Prior to that, he worked for several years with other accountancy organisations, where he gained extensive experience working in the small to medium-size company sector.
Hans is not only working as an external accountant for several big (family) companies, he also specializes in areas such as consultancy for family businesses, specifically concerning company succession. He also has experience in the field of international consultancy. In addition, he has experience in the area of special projects such as due diligence investigations, and has experience with the insolvency practice.
